App Store takes over 25 billion downloads

Apple has an extremely active market applications. Recently we had come to know that Apple is tracking the downloaded applications from App store with a built-in countdown timer. Today on 3rd March Apple has passed the 25 billion downloads mark in the App Store. Apple announced that the 25 billionth app downloader will win a gift card App Store for $ 10,000. The winner will be soon revealed.

That $10,000 prize can be spent not only on App Store items but in the iBooks Store and the iTunes store. But there is no cash equivalent.
